01

1. Purpose

This Policy explains how visas.com.au verifies professional credentials before a profile is made publicly available.

02

2. Migration agents

We check the applicant's name, MARN and current registration status against the official register and may request supporting identification or registration documents.

04

4. Approval and badges

Approved profiles may display Verified Migration Agent or Verified Australian Lawyer. The badge records a credential check at a point in time and is not a quality guarantee or endorsement.

05

5. Ongoing verification

We may conduct periodic or event-driven checks, including on renewal dates, complaints, returned register results or notified changes. Professionals must keep credentials current and notify us promptly of changes.

06

6. Suspension and review

We may temporarily hide or suspend a profile while concerns are investigated. We will ordinarily provide notice and an opportunity to respond unless immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect users or comply with law.

07

7. Contact

Verification questions may be sent to info@visas.com.au.
